In January 2014 we visited ISC Konstanz to have some encapsulation variants tested for cell-to-module losses. The first batch of measurement shows a magnificent decrease of c2m losses to only 2.5% we can deliver immediately with our standard encapsulation using the non-reflective module surface. This is a major step forward compared to last year’s measurements which were above 4%. This plus in energy availability will give our customers a competitive advantage in their race events.
A new type of encapsulation still under development shows the potential of a further decrease in c2m losses to well below 2%.
